To Register (first time visitor)

There are a few ways that you can register to use the FHE Forums.

Here's how to register from the main screen of the Message Board.

1. Click on the "register" link on the main Message board page to create an account. Below is a screen cap to show where the link is located on that page.
   
   
   
   
2. Fill out the form to create a "username" and "password".





3. Once you have completed registration you will see the screen below. You will not be able to enter the forums until FHE approves you.





4. You will get this screen until FHE approves you and activates your password.





5. Once you are approved you will enter your "username" and "password" that you created during registry into the login page.

To Login

To login, you will have already registered and been approved by FHE, and if so you will login here, or you can login by clicking on the "login" link located on the main page of the message board, view the screen cap below to see where the link is located on that page.

Fill in with the "username" and "password" you created at registry.

What is a "Password Protected" Forums?

These are private forums created by FHE. Your password that you created when registering will not work here; FHE will supply you with a different password, uniquely created to enter that forum.

Once FHE provides you with the unique password to enter the forum, you will enter the password into a screen similar to the one below.

How do I post a topic in a forum?

1. You click on the forum that you would like to enter.








2. You can add a topic by clicking on the link "New Topic" shown below.

How do I reply to a posting?

1. You can reply to a posting by clicking on the link "Reply" shown below.





2. Type in your reply and click on the button "Post Message" to submit the reply.

What is a forum? What is a category?

A forum contains threads (or "topics"). Categories are used to simply organize your forums.

For example:
You can have a forum called "Apples" where users would chat about different kinds of apples, a forum called "Oranges" where they would chat about different kinds of oranges, and a forum called "Bananas" where they would chat about different kinds of bananas.

You could then create a Category called "Fruits" and put all those forums into that category. The category would just be used to organize those forums. Categories are very helpful when you have many forums. It allows the user to easily choose the forum that is appropriate for their discussion.
