| Announcement Due to various factors, including work load, Dr. Levine has made the decision that he will no longer teach the advanced training segment in North America and will gradually release the international advanced trainings to other skilled faculty members. He will be redirecting his resources toward the development of new post-advanced classes to further the “art and science” of SE. It is ours and Dr. Levine’s hope that he will be able to teach a variety of post advanced classes to those who have completed their training, as well as lecture occasionally on the national circuit. He has agreed to offer a 3-day Post Advanced training in December 2006 for SE graduates, with the possibility of another in early 2007. Dr. Levine will also be the primary presenter at our first FHE conference in October 2007. (Please see other sections of this newsletter for more information on both of these topics.) Our hope is that this will provide opportunities for the SE community to benefit from his vast knowledge. Also, due to our growth in enrollments, we are offering for the first time in North America a variety of regional locations for the advanced 2007 trainings. This will offer increased convenience for students completing their final year of the SE training. Some of the minor details are still being worked out, but below is the 2007 schedule. West Coast (Claremont Resort, Berkeley, CA) Advanced I March 27 – April 1, 2007 taught by Steve Hoskinson, Kathy
Kain as support faculty
Advanced I July 9 – 14, 2007 Canada (Harbour Towers, Victoria, British Columbia) Advanced I April 28 – May 3, 2007 taught by Steve Hoskinson, Kathy
Kain as support faculty We have made this change in the staffing of the advanced trainings after careful deliberation. This was the best decision available to us for the overall support of the development of the SE community. All faculty teaching the U.S. advanced trainings have experience teaching advanced trainings elsewhere, and have been mentored by Dr. Levine toward this transition. Dr. Levine is continuing to provide guidance and input about the curriculum for all levels of the SE training. We are committed to bringing you the highest quality training possible. Please visit the FHE website at www.traumahealing.com for a complete list of all post advanced and auxiliary courses available by Dr. Levine and faculty.
