TigerNews | FHE Executive Director Announcement

continued...
Last month the FHE faculty gathered in Carlsbad, California for the annual FHE faculty meeting. Three German faculty member and four Brazilian faculty members attended the meeting - the largest contingent of international faculty ever. The faculty worked through many issues related to the training including how the training curriculum can be packaged best. The FHE faculty also are working on many new ideas for post-graduate classes and other specialty classes. Our thanks to Kathy Kain, FHE Training and Education Director for her focused leadership in bringing everybody together.

Our research program is really developing, thanks to the efforts of Laurie Leitch. You may have already received a request from us in the mail for financial support for our research program. We hope you will consider supporting FHE research and we thank you for your faith in our work. As we all know, having a body of outcomes-based research will open many doors to SE and to SE Practitioners. Our hope is that the Vets and Domestic Violence research projects that Laurie talks about in this edition of Tiger News will bring a higher level of credibility to SE.

In closing, there have been a number of individuals who have donated generously to the FHE in the past few months whom we want to publicly acknowledge. Thank you to: Deborah Boyer; David de Rosenroll; Steve Hoskinson and his Intermediate II Arizona class; Lee Reed; the Gumbo Foundation in Santa Fe; Armen Vartian; Carol Marks; and Roberta King. Thank you all.

In closing, please stay in touch. Tell us how we're doing, and let us know how we can continually improve our efforts to achieve the FHE mission of healing trauma worldwide.

With best wishes,

Deanne Lederer
