One's life has value so long as one attributes value to the life of others, by means of love, friendship, indignation and compassion.

Dear SE Advanced Participants and SEP's:
Due to very low enrollment rates for our upcoming Advanced I class February 25th - March 2nd in Tiburon, California we are prepared to offer a special repeat rate. For those of you who have already completed Advanced I, but want to take it as a repeat, you may also attend this 6 day course in a small group setting with the guidance of Kathy Kain for a low rate of $400. Please phone our office at 303-652-4035 for additional information or to register. You cannot register on-line for the special rate.

FHE 2010 Annual Registry
Looking for an economical and practical way to promote your practice? We are often contacted by prospective clients who have just read one of Peter Levine's books and want to find someone who is trained in SE! We are also contacted by professionals who want to refer clients to a SE trained therapist or body-worker.. So, how do we connect them to you? We refer them to the SE Annual Registry!

The time has come to be listed on the 2010 FHE Annual Practitioners Registry.

This professional registry is vital in helping the general public find those who use Somatic Experiencing in their practice AND is vital in assisting professionals in providing SE referrals to their patients and clients. But, if you're not in the Annual Registry, they can't find you!

Beginning December 31, 2009, all 2009 profiles were removed from the registry. Below are the steps for either keeping or updating your 2009 profile or to join the registry for 2009.

New Practitioner registry process
You will be charged based on your training level and payment may be made via MasterCard or Visa. If you do not wish to pay online, you may call the FHE office (303) 652-4035 ext 10 to pay by phone, or you may mail a check to FHE, 6685 Gunpark Drive, Suite 102, Boulder, CO 80301.

Remember, we refer to the Annual Registry and we want prospective clients to be able to find you!

New Index for Training Manual

A standing ovation for Jacqueline Carlton, PhD, SEP, and her" amazing intern," Nishi Gheewala, BA, for volunteering over 100 hours in the compilation of a comprehensive index for the SE training manual. Jacquie noted that Nishi "quickly picked up the logic of the enterprise and would apprise me of anomalies in the material I gave her to put into the index. She was tireless in 'translating" the page numbers to the manual's peculiar pagination and absolutely perfectionistic in applying the categories and sub-categories I wanted included." Kudos to you both and thanks for sharing your work with the entire SE community!

You may now download your own copy of the new manual index. The link may be found at the bottom of the Curriculum page, by clicking here: FHE Curriculum Page

SE Booth at the Psychotherapy Networker Symposium

The FHE will have a booth at Psychotherapy Networker Conference, March 26-27, 2010, in Washington D.C. If any of you will be attending the conference, we would like to coordinate some times for you to come by the booth to help answer questions and provide the FHE with some local support. This would also be a great way for you to meet, greet and network with conference attendees. Please let us know the times you would be available. Our booth will be open 7:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 26 and 7:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 27. We hope to hear from you soon and look forward to meeting you!

Sensation Game
Check it out...

The Sensation Game TM, for individuals, families and groups, ages 5 - adult, is a gentle, fun, therapeutic game to help clients and families feel more connected to their own nervous systems, to each other, and to the world around them.
