Q: Why is the SE Trauma Institute switching to a new registry service?
A: As the SE Trauma Institute has grown and expanded, we would like our members to benefit from opportunities like Social Marketing and linking with others on FaceBook and LinkedIn, and linking their Twitter account. There are additional options with this new Registry service such as allowing members to place their information in more than one location themselves and choose amongst several drop-down menus to highlight their particular areas of specialty.
Q: Do I have to enter all of my information from scratch when joining this new and improved Registry?
A: Yes, we are asking everyone to enter their information from scratch to join the new registry. We want to start with a clean slate. Since some of the data fields are new with our new Registry, some fields will not merge exactly into the new format. Members will have access to their information in Memberclicks, our old Registry service, through January 31, 2012, to allow members to reference their old/existing information.
Q: When can I pay for the 2012 Registry and begin filling out my information?
A: The SE Trauma Institute has opened the payment portal for the 2012 Registry. You can log in here, Pay Membership, to pay for your Registry. The new Registry will be live the first week in January for 2012.
Q: Why should I join the SE Professional Registry?
A: When the SE Trauma Institute ™ Central Office gets calls from those who have just read one of Peter Levine’s books and want to find someone who is trained in SE®, we refer them to the Annual Registry. When professionals call to refer clients to a therapist or body-worker who uses SE®, we refer them to the Annual Registry.
