Professional Description: Steven Hoskinson, MA (psychology), MAT (theology), consults and trains trauma treatment providers internationally under the auspices of Hoskinson Consulting (www.HoskinsonConsulting.org) in Encinitas, California.
For a decade, he has taught as Senior International Instructor for The Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute, and has done research in Creativity, Myth and Spirituality. He has presented at numerous professional conferences and numberous other CEU-approved workshops, as well as having worked as adjunct faculty at JFK University. His perspectives include: Evolutionary, Developmental, Narrative, Cognitive-Behavioral and Systems approaches within a mindfulness framework. Other major influences include personal mentoring with Peter Levine, a long-standing mindfulness practice, parenting, and over a decade as a practicing Aikidoist.
